Security

A burglary takes place every 2 minutes in France. However, it is not inevitable! There are solutions which really deter intruders. Here are the main ones concerning windows :

• reinforced profiles (casements and casings),
• hinges screwed into the steel of the frameworks,
• anti-unhooking devices and mushroom roller all around the edge of the frame
• anti-unhinging system,
• 44/6* glazing (or in extreme cases bullet-proof glazing) in place of standard glazing
• drill-proof casement bolt box,
• key-lockable handle.

* 44/6 glazing is laminated glazing made from layers of glass joined together by PVB separators.

Burglaries are not inevitable. TRYBA windows are equipped (as standard) with equipment providing a very high level of protection :

• steel frameworks in the frames and casings, ensuring maximum rigidity,

• hinges screwed into the steel of the frameworks,

• anti-unhooking device and mushroom roller in bottom rail.

However, to meet the most specialized safety needs, TRYBA has developed the TRYBASAFE High-Security range. The maximum security level (TRYBASAFE R40) includes, in addition to the strengths described above :

• an anti-unhinging system (on each casement),

• security latches with mushroom roller all round the edge (systematic lever rebate on the semi-fixed casement),

• a drill-proof casement bolt box,

• a bullet-proof external glazing unit in place of the standard double glazing unit,

• a key-lockable handle.

To test them, these windows were subjected to the unsuccessful attacks of our testers/burglars for 16 minutes, before the latter gave up.
