| Our environment is the treasure we shall leave to our children. We should preserve it at all costs. At TRYBA we are very aware of the importance of protecting the environment and have developped our products with this very much in mind. | 1. The two main materials used in the manufacture of pvc doors and windows are pvc (derived from salt and oil) for the profiles and joints, and steel (iron and carbon) for the frameworks and hinges. These raw products are available abundantly worldwide (oil : 120 billion tons, salt : 37 thousand billion tons, an almost inexhaustable ammount). Necessary quantities : 100kg of oil is enough to heat a four roomed appartment for one week, OR to fit a house with pvc windows for decades !! | |
2. Ecological manufacturing process : the leftover pieces from the cutting, welding and assembley lines are recovered, sorted and sent to a recycling company. Each new composant introduced into the manufacturing process or used in the packaging of our products has to be recyclable.
3. A manufacturing process which consumes very little energy : the extrusion of a pvc profile occurs at 200°C whereas the fusion points of other materials such as aluminium for example varies between 400°C-1200°C.
4. No risk is entailed for the inhabitant in the use of pvc windows in the home. Pvc is totally stable, nutral, inert and is not effected by mould. Toxic elements are not emitted by simple contact with the atmosphere or during cleaning. When in contact with fire, pvc has never seen the formation of phosgene or chlorine in a free state. Pvc is classed M1 which means that it does not present an aggravting factor in the developement of fires.
